Relying on the volumetric change principle of the rotor structure, rotor pumps can stably complete the suction and pressurized discharge of media, and are suitable for conveying both conventional and special media. The operational stability of the equipment completely depends on the standardized operations of three stages:pre-start inspection, operation monitoring and shutdown maintenance.Full-process standardized management can effectively avoid the vast majority of equipment failures.

-Bonve Pumps Cam Type Twin Rotor Pump-

I.Pre-Start Inspection

Careful inspection before equipment startup can avoid mechanical damage problems from the source.Staff need to check the gearbox lubricating oil level and quality, and the oil level must be kept at the middle position of the observation window. At the same time, follow the fixed oil change standard:the lubricating oil must be replaced after the first 500 hours of equipment operation, and subsequently replaced according to the standard of 4000 hours of operation or one year of use, whichever comes first.Meanwhile, comprehensively check the inlet and outlet pipeline conditions, investigate problems such as pipeline bending, valve closure and debris blockage, ensure smooth pipelines, and avoid rotor jamming caused by the inability of media to be conveyed normally after startup. If the liquid level at the equipment inlet is lower than the pump body and there is a negative pressure liquid suction condition, the pump cavity must be filled with media in advance to completely prohibit no-load startup.

II.Real-Time Monitoring During Equipment Operation

Full-time on-duty monitoring of working conditions is required during equipment operation.Identify equipment vibration and operating noise in real time. When abnormal noise or abnormal vibration occurs, timely investigate problems such as cavitation, loose base and rotor jamming. At the same time, regularly check the inlet and outlet pressure values to ensure that the equipment works within rated parameters. When conveying media containing impurities,a filtering device must be installed at the inlet, and the filter components should be cleaned regularly to prevent filter screen blockage from causing flow attenuation and equipment overload damage. It is strictly prohibited to run the equipment without media throughout the process,as dry friction will directly wear the mechanical seal and cause failure of core components.

III.Post-Shutdown Maintenance and Upkeep

Standardized shutdown and subsequent maintenance are the keys to extending equipment life. The shutdown operation must follow the principle of close the valve first and then cut off the power.Slowly close the outlet valve before cutting off the power to prevent media backflow from impacting the rotor and causing equipment reverse rotation damage. For crystalline, solidified and high-viscosity special media, the pump cavity must be flushed in time after shutdown to remove residual media inside and avoid solidification and adhesion to the rotor.For long-term idle rotor pumps, drain all media in the cavity, thoroughly clean and dry the internal components, and manually rotate the coupling regularly to ensure flexible rotor operation and prevent rust and jamming.

In summary, the efficient and stable operation of rotor pumps relies on full-cycle standardized operation.Implementing the complete process of pre-start inspection, operation monitoring and shutdown maintenance can effectively stabilize the equipment operation efficiency, significantly reduce failure probability and operation and maintenance costs, and provide guarantee for stable industrial production.
